Megan has served as the Executive Director at CHRC since 2012.
Megan was born and raised in the beautiful state of Colorado. Megan has a bachelors degree in Political Science from Colorado State University and a masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
After receiving her bachelors degree, Megan began her career in Washington, DC in 2006 to pursue a career in legislative politics where she worked for the US Senate and for a private government relations firm. While she was in DC, God began to work on her heart and prepared her to follow her passions to serve at-risk communities. In 2009 she moved to San Antonio and took a job with Haven for Hope, the largest transformational campus for the homeless in the US, where she served as the Director of Development. In 2012, Megan once again followed God’s calling and took her current position as Executive Director at CHRC. Megan is passionate about creating innovative solutions to address systemic problems to help families and communities rise above the barriers that cause poverty. She also loves cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and dogs. Megan has two kids, Bryson and Harper, and loves living in the Alamo City. Megan is a member of Leadership San Antonio Class 38, serves on the Leadership San Antonio Alumni Committee, serves on the board of Unicity, and is a member of the C12 Group.
